| stainless is about the same price. Aluminum requires TIG welding to assemble and it isn't a good material of choice considering that some of these are the AFR versions - the AFR bias plates need a solid metal that wont bend easily so that tension will hold the plates in the position that the user sets them to, so aluminum couldn't be used reliably. Stainless would be a nice metal to use, but it is very hard on tooling. I used several bandsaw blades in the process of making these and my carbide bits used for cleaning up the cuts would be shot by now. I'm really sortof put-off by your comment though; I feel like you are accusing me of committing some injustice towards my customers. I'm not sure if I should try and defend myself here but risk getting into some argument that just looks bad or to just accept your comment and know that I am doing the best I can to produce a good product and fund future product development at the same time. I'm really at a loss of words otherwise.
